A share kit, email previews and households for team admins

A link, QR code, flyer and graphic for every pool, a preview of each email families get, and one sign-in that can play for the whole household.

A fundraiser only raises money if families join. This work covers the stretch between "we set up a pool" and "everybody's in".

A share kit on every pool

Each pool now has a Share panel for its admins. It holds four things, all made from that pool's own details:

  • a link,
  • a QR code,
  • a flyer to print,
  • a graphic sized for social media.

Each one lists only the ways to pay that the team actually takes, so no family is told to pay a way the team can't accept.

See every email before a parent does

Admins can preview every email their game sends. The samples use the pool's real price, wording and button, so what the admin reads is what a parent will get.

Those emails also have more personality now: each one carries a single dry line. Miss a deadline, and the email with your random picks says that if those teams win, you should act like you planned it. Every instruction, amount and deadline reads exactly as it did before, and the sign-in code email stays plain.

Email the whole pool, or the whole team

An admin can write one message to everyone in a pool or everyone on the team. It goes out in the team's look, with a live preview while you type and a two-tap send so nobody fires one off by accident. Replies come back to the admin who sent it.

Members, including the family that pays cash

The team admin page has a Members section. An admin can search the team, fix a name or a phone number, and add a family by hand when they pay cash and never sign up themselves. All of it is limited to that admin's own team.

Households

One signed-in parent can now play for family members who don't have a login: a kid, a spouse, a grandparent. You choose who you're playing as, and their emails come to you.

  • Admins can move a member into or out of a household.
  • Admins can merge someone who signed up twice. Everything they had moves together, and the old email address still signs in.
  • Admin rights stay with the person who signed in. Playing for your kid doesn't make your kid an admin.

It's the same idea as the household accounts in the booking software I build for small businesses. One person shouldn't need three logins to take care of one family.
