The short version
Forecheck AI keeps only what it needs to answer you, understand how the site is doing, and bill clients. We don’t sell or share your information, we don’t run ads, and we don’t use outside tracking or analytics services.
What we collect
- When you send us a message: your name, email, phone (if you give it), business name and message. We also keep a keyed hash of your IP address (not the address itself) and your browser’s user-agent string, to keep out spam.
- When you book a call: your name, business name, email, phone number and the note you add, with the same spam checks as a message. We use them only to hold the time and make the call: to confirm it, remind you, and phone you.
- When you visit: the pages you view and how long you spend looking at them, which parts of a page you scroll to, the site that sent you, any campaign tag on the link you followed (for example, which of our posts or emails it came from), your approximate city, region and country (estimated from your IP address by our host), and your device type and browser. For spam protection we keep a keyed hash of your IP address, never the address itself.
- One cookie, named fc_vid: a random ID that lets us count return visits and, if you later send a message or book a call, see how you found the site. It holds nothing about you and is only ever read by forecheckai.com.
- On our demo sites (demo.forecheckcrm.com, the demos it links to, and demo.customcloser.com): the demo pages you view, how long you spend on them, the site that sent you, your approximate city, region and country, and your device type and browser, kept the same way as visits here. Each demo keeps a random ID in your browser’s storage for that demo site so we can count return visits. It is never linked to a message or booking.
- On a private proposal demo (proposals.forecheckcrm.com and its subdomains): the email you sign in with, when you opened the demo and which of its pages and screens you opened, so we know what to go over with you. If you ask for a sign-in code with an address that isn’t on that demo’s list, we keep the address and which demo it was, so we can add you. Anything you type into a demo stays in your browser.
- If you’re a client: billing contact details and payment records. Card numbers are typed into our payment partner’s secure form and never reach our servers.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends either signal, we still count the visit, but we don’t set the fc_vid cookie or keep a demo site’s ID, so your visits can’t be linked to each other or to a message or booking you send.
If you arrive from a link in an email we sent you and then write to us or book a call, we note which email brought you. Browsers sending Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track are not linked this way.
How we use it
To reply to you, to see which posts and emails bring people to the site, to keep the site working and free of spam, and, for clients, to send invoices and receipts and take payments.
Who handles it for us
Our hosting, database and email providers, and our payment partner (for clients), process data on our behalf, only to provide those services. There is no advertising and no cross-site tracking.
How long we keep it
Messages and client records for as long as we work together or the law requires (tax records, for example). Visit records for as long as they’re useful for seeing how the site is doing. Ask and we’ll delete what’s tied to you.
Your choices
You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the site works the same without them. To see or delete what we have about you, send a note through our contact form.
Children
This site is for business owners and isn’t directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
