Every Football Squares email wears the team's colors

Most of what a family sees of a fundraiser is email. So every email Football Squares sends looks like it came from the team, because as far as the family is concerned, it did.

The team's look, the team's name

• Every email uses the team's main color, and the team's logo when one has been uploaded.
• The sender name is the team's.
• Replies go to the board's own admins, the people who can actually answer.
• Emails always use a light layout, so a team's colors read the same in every inbox.

Three emails that matter

You're locked in. When an admin confirms your payment, you get a confirmation with your squares. If the season has already had a draw, it adds a banner: "You're late, but you're in."

Game day. Right after the digits are drawn, every member holding a paid square gets one email for that game: their squares with the two digits each one landed on, the full grid, and the prizes. It goes out once per game.

Results. The morning after the game, everyone with a paid square gets their own results email, written for them.

• A winner's email leads with what they won and a button to donate it to the team or collect it.
• Everyone else gets a better-luck line, and it rotates so it isn't the same joke every week.
• A quarter that pays nothing is shown as scoreboard only.
• If the winning square was never sold, it says the prize stays with the team.

Households get one email, not four

If one parent's login covers a spouse and two kids, their squares ride in that parent's email. Nobody gets four copies of the same game-day message.

Why one email per person

A results email could go to the whole board as one message. Each person gets their own instead, and it opens with their result, not a list they have to search for their name in.
