Software for mobile detailers, built around the drive
A new demo shows how a detailer who comes to the customer could take bookings, run the day and get paid, all from a phone.
Most booking tools assume the customer comes to you. A mobile detailer has the opposite problem: you go to them, and every job has a drive on either side of it. So we built a full working demo for a made-up detailing business in Tempe, Monsoon Mobile Detailing, to show what software shaped around that looks like. Every customer, car and dollar in it is sample data, and it says so on every screen.
A home page that looks like the job
The site opens on the view across a car's hood in the rain. Drops bead up and roll off the paint, and moving the mouse, or a finger on a phone, pushes them aside the way water slides off a fresh coating. Scroll down through how a visit goes and the weather on the paint follows along: the storm that moves the appointment, dust on the drive over, a microfiber towel drying it off when the job is done, and clear paint for the monthly plan. On a phone the hood shrinks to a strip at the top with the Book button always in reach. The booking box and every price stay right where a customer expects them.
Booking starts with an address
The first thing a customer types is where the car will be. They get an answer straight away: yes, we come to you, here is the travel fee for your area, and here is the first opening. The fee depends on the zone, so a customer across town sees it before they pick a time, not on the invoice.
The times offered are real times for that van. A slot only shows up if the detailer can finish the job before it, drive there, and still make the next one. Times that don't fit are struck out, and tapping one says why.
Pick the car once
The customer chooses the vehicle size once, or types the model, and every package and add-on price changes to match. A live total sits at the bottom, so nobody is surprised later.
Then a few quick taps cover what a detailer needs to know before showing up:
- Is there water and power?
- Driveway, garage or street?
- An HOA or apartment complex with rules?
- An optional photo of the car.
A small deposit holds the slot, and the card stays on file for the balance.
When the weather turns
In Phoenix, a summer storm can wipe out an afternoon of washes. In the demo, customers with jobs in the path get a text with new times, and moving is one tap with no fee. The owner sees the rain alert on their week before it hits.
The detailer's phone
The detailer's view is the day as a route: each stop in order, with drive time and miles between them. One tap sends "on my way" with a live arrival time, and another sends a running-late note. At the car there's a checklist, before and after photos, an add-on to offer on the spot, and a re-quote if the car turns out bigger than booked. Payment and tip happen right there.
When the job is done, the customer gets a report with the before and after photos, the balance to pay, a tip option, a review request, and a one-tap offer to join a monthly keep-clean plan.
The owner's view
The owner sees the week ahead, money in over the last seven days, upcoming jobs, plan members and what the plans bring in each month. There's also a fleet account for a business with several cars that gets one invoice a month instead of one per wash.
This is what a build for a mobile service business could look like, not a product on a shelf. If you run one and want something like it shaped around how your day actually goes, you can book a call at forecheckai.com/book.
